History of Dun Laoghaire Lions Club
The Dún Laoghaire Lions Club, established in 1969, is now in its 57th year of dedicated service to the wider Dún Laoghaire community. The club currently has 50 members who actively contribute to both fundraising initiatives and community service projects.
The club is part of Lions Clubs International, the world’s largest charitable service organisation. As a voluntary, non-profit group, all funds raised by the Lions are directed entirely to the causes they support. Administrative costs are covered separately by the members themselves, ensuring that every euro donated goes straight to charity or community services.
